Can you believe Memorial Day is less than two weeks away? That means vacations and beach weather. And for some people it means a special season of reading. I do tend to read more during the summer while I sit outside or am traveling, so I can see the allure of summer reading. I feel like I read more during the summer because of those down times.
I’m planning to put together a list of what I hope to read this summer, but I want your input too. Tell me what you have on your summer reading list this year. Why do you like summer reading? Leave a comment below or send me a tweet at @jenconnic. I’ll make sure to include your thoughts in my upcoming post.

I haven’t picked out a summer reading list. But if you haven’t read it yet, “The Forgotten Garden” by Kate Morton is an excellent summer read. I loved it when I read it two summers ago. Couldn’t put it down.
